De Groene Koepel does not own or manage any Hiker’s Cabins (Trekkershutten). We restrict ourselves to inspecting and accrediting cabins owned and operated by others, who are then entitled to use the Trekkershut® (Hiker’s Cabin) name and logo in their promotional materials.

The guidelines help to explain our concept and formula, revealing how the Hiker’s Cabins network differs from other types of short-stay accommodation. They tell both operators and visitors what can (and can not) be expected from a Hiker’s Cabin. Last but not least, the guidelines explain how we safeguard the quality of the accredited Hiker’s Cabins.
