Do you agree that people should be able to get away from the hurly-burly of city life and enjoy the hospitality of companies offering honest-to-goodness outdoor accommodation in the great outdoors? Is the future of the Natural Campsites, Group Natural Campsites and Hiker’s Cabins networks important to you?

De Groene Koepel is dedicated to the sustainable development of outdoor recreation in the Netherlands and neighbouring countries. As stated in our mission, our core values are sustainability, cultural history, the nature experience and Corporate Social Responsibility. We support the operators of Natural Campsites, Group Natural Campsites and Hiker’s Cabins in achieving their commercial aims in line with these values.

We are a non-profit foundation which receives no government funding whatsoever. We earn some revenue from the sale of publications, while the operators of accredited sites pay a small annual membership fee. We nevertheless remain largely dependent on the support of our Friends. Your contribution will help us to continue our mission and to secure the future of the National Campsites, Group Natural Campsites and Hiker’s Cabins networks in today’s rapidly changing world.

Our Friends are the ambassadors for outdoor recreation in the Netherlands. As a Friend, your support is not just financial in nature. You are demonstrating your interest and commitment, and you will be helping to maintain and develop the Natural Campsites, Group Natural Campsites and Hiker’s Cabins networks for the enjoyment of future generations.
